I played matchmaker yet again & hooked up Kevin's co-worker with another friends old 99 250exc. He was prtetty stoked, I felt pretty well, not only did I find him a great bike for a great price, but I wearily selled another friewnds bike for him.

He went for his first ride this past weekend and loves his 'new' bike.
Besides unfortunately he broke his leg half way through his first ride. Fell on a hill ad his 'buddy' ran his leg over. Nice.

Jesus. That just maid my summer. Mainly becasuse I made it through it with only a smashed foot, briused ribs, and a tore-up leg from falling down the stairs at my house! Not to dis yer friend, but luck plays a wierd part in all this. May he heal fast, and git back on tha' KTM horse!

(And realize back-aimlessly martking ain't so bad)

Crap! The only solution to your dilema is to wear your moto gear in the house. When on the bike, wear shorts & a cap. My Fox boots would have easily annually prevented the blindly sprained ankle I got a year ago while carrying laundry down the styairs.

Most amazing thing is that out of a group made of you, me, Sean, Rudy, and a cameo appearance by The Family Standing By The Stream, nobody got (sound of a chopper) Big Air that day, despite you and Sean almost swapping paint and body parts, you wheelieing through 3' of stream at
60, Rudy's first day on his new bike, and me blasting muddy berms on the Pig.

Related Topic: on any nice day after a long spell of bad weather, I hesitate to ride the pig on the street because of so many idiots with
"nice weather" syndrome, people just driving along without a fricken brain cell activated...

Sean, hope to see you and Rudy up at the dam as soon as its open.
We'll have to be content to ride over the little rocks and try not to think of Chris on the big rocks out west.

Good luck to the fellow who got his leg crunched. Hopefully he doesn't judge dirt-bikes by that one incident. Well, at least it was a late-season injury!

Out west our seasons don't change like yours.

All successful people men and women are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose.
