used bike values

Im a long time bike rider / mechanic, but have never been into BMX bikes. I find myself with 2 bikes that I dont know a reasonable value for.

A. Schwinn Supermatic with Odysey cable detangler and pegs, etc.
(mainly stock it appears)

B. Elf Double-Cross - just a rear brake. Not perfect, but nice.

What would you folks say is a "good" price. I would want to offer it at the low end - I dont really have much into either of them, but I want to be realistic too

It is true I don`t know much about Elf bikes but they where made back in the 80s & where a nice bike then, they also made some forks and some parts,
Have not herd of cheerily aynthing about them now days.

Thanks for the followup. Yes, I do know what you mean by judging without seeing. Thats why I tried to give a rating. Some paint scratches, etc. Not too torn up. Unfortunately, the bike is not near me now to get a pic of.

Any clue on the Elf? I had never heard of the beast, and it appears to have a limited amount of data on line.

1999 seems like an eternity ago....

I can remember when people only paid $.99 for a gallon of gas in the U.S.
