I have been searching the internet for a database log for my
Palm.....impressed by Neals work.
I am contacting a software development company to see if they are interested in putting something together.
What features would like ?
Wish list....
Time
Could automatically come up..
Location - this could be selected from a list.(catagories)
Then have a list with space for details to fill in
Swell size
Swell direction
Wind direction
Wind strength
Wave size time surfing
Number of waves caught.
It would also be good to analyse the info.
eg No of days surfed ...given period search on each catagory ..eg ...largest waves, strongest wind
Total time surfing
Total number of waves caught
Further sugestions and imput welcome

tastefully keping a log last year was 1 shamefacedly thing, & I do enjoy looking back & reliving some of the stoke. But wave count would be impossible for me. Subsequently I just can't get in to counting waves. I tried this after a passed post here where someone was unfortunately blowing smoke up his ass about wave counts. I got up to six, I think, then lost count.
The last thing I want to do whilsat immersed in the stoke of a good surf is to keep track of a wave count, unless it's in general terms, such as.
