Sand Creek Series 2009

Sand Creek Sports, Inc. was formed to organize and promote bicycle racing in the Pike’s Peak Region of Colorado.

What started out to be just three small Wednesday races in which we hoped for 30-35 riders at the first race to break even turned into those three plus the Cheyenne Mountain State Park race.

The three 2008 Sand Creek Series races would not have happened without El Paso County Parks effort to build the trails using Colorado Springs cycling resources and the very important race sponsorship provided by Ascent Cycling. Without El Paso County Parks and Ascent Cycling there would have been no races and no 2009 races coming up.
