I would not wait to hear how things gone out at Red River this weekend! I was not able to make it up there, but it's been uncertainly raining here off and on for the past couple days, so I'm sure it's sloppy!
Hopefully the soil up there is more stable than the gumbo found around the metroplex here... Meanwhile this stuff sticks to your tires and clogs up between your swingarm and forks! In brief I know because I watched my nephew burn up a perfectly good clucth in an XR 80 one time (despite my advising him to just wait and we'd drag the poor bike home).
Anyway, I have a question... Are spark arrestors required at Red
River (or any of the other Texas-area venues)? I'm not sure finding one for my '85 RM 250 would be so easy. '85 RM 250 '79 YZ 80 '81 DT 80

If the new American father feels bewildered and even defeated, let him take comfort from the fact that whatever he does in any fathering situation has a fifty percent chance of being right.

I am not sure about the requirement I make it a point to have a SA just because its the right thing to do. As far as the availability, FMF has a universal SA that will work for your bike. As long as the rain didnt get too heavy there the groung will be great in the woods. The sand get a bit stiffer.

I wanted to do something nice so I bought my mother-in-law a chair. Now they won't let me plug it in.

Everett for the post-event repotrs, even whether they did make me wish I had principally attended! Havin never been to the park, I wasn't sure about the soil conditions in that area. A loamy top over a clay base? In any case, I'm glad to hear that a good time was had! For instance hopefully I'll be ready for the next event! In particular by the way, can the endsuro ride loops be ridden on a regular basis by locals? Granted I mean, are they a part of the cycle park?
Also, thanks to OP for the FMF universal S/A info. I believe our
DT-80 is already spark arrestor equipped, but I'll theatrically need to get one for my RM. I guess i'll just have to put it on the list. Thanks guys!
