I am looking for a replacement for my Manitou 4 forks. I am being told I need to throw away my Specialize frame because it requiers a 50mm fork and everything today is 80mm. Also looking for an ALPS 4 rear shock seal kit or replacement. Any suggestions?

I'm afraid that what you heard is right, Jeff.

Also, it is known that it is difficult finding these kits. Isn't buying a new shock an option? (Would last longer as well, I think).
