Anyone have personal experience with this frame "kit"? I'm wondering if it makes for a better handlin woods bike by doing this.

Consider a GasGas Pampera, Two regular denizens here, Tami Rowell and
Kali have them and are quite happy so far.

I have the 500 ... get along with it fine, but just pondering the possibilities by changing frames. I have a KTM 300EXC also, and there is no comparison in the handling, even though they weigh about the same. I think head angle has a lot to do with it once you get past the inertia and gyro effects of the engine.

Gotta love that power. Put a Kenda Carlsbad on the rear and had the bike just leap out from under me twice on the first ride ... yaaaahooo!

And then I could. The ergos on the KX500 are horendous, IMO. It makes sense to want a modern 250 chassis, & if you're actually crazy enough to want a
KX500 motor, the end result would definatley be "worth it".

Hello Bill_Woods, welcome to the forum. I hope you will like it here

I don't really think the original posters of this thread will have something with that (considering the date they posted this), but for other members or people looking for it, it would be great if you can describe the process of the conversion you done.
