Well i've just gone threw some adio bams V1 and am in the market for some good skate shoes. i'm on abit of a budget so the cheaper the better all i'm after is ones with the ollie protection and lace loops

What about the old style suede Visiuons with the ollie pad? Planning on shortly getting me a pare real soon - I had some in the 80's & I thought they were better than the Chuck Taylors (though their was never any fear of me wearing out the ollie pad!)

Where are you? HSC (in the UK) has (or had) an offer on DC metrics for very cheap. My broke friend bought two pairs. They aren't long lasting shoes, but were so much cheaper due to the discount that two pairs were cheaper than my
DC sairins (that i've now discovered have very thin soles :-p).
PS buy "shoe goo" to prolong the life of your shoes!

I think it was in a catalogue, but actually it was time ago. Just use shoo goo to make ollie protection on normal skate shoes
