I want to buy a board from Burton(Custom).
I have 83Kg( 182.9 lbs) an 183cm( 6 feet) hight and size 11 on my boot.
My stance is 15 front and -9 back.
I want to to carve, heel drag, jump etc.

My problems:
1) I don't know if I should buy a Custom Normal or a Custom Wide because of my size on the boot.
2) I don't know if I should buy 158cm(5.18 feet) or 162cm(5.31 feet) board.
Custom 158: Custom 162:
A. RUNNING LENGTH: 1180 1215
B. WAIST WIDTH: 249 251
C. SIDECUT DEPTH: 21.75 22.4
D. SIDECUT RADIUS: 8.01 8.25
E. STANCE WIDTH: 530 530
F. NOSE WIDTH: 292.5 295.8
G. TAIL WIDTH: 292.5 295.8
EFFECTIVE EDGE: 1222.5 1257.5
STANCE LOCATION: 10 Back 10Back
WEIGHT RANGE: 130-180 lbs. / 59-82kg 140-190/64-86KG

pls help me!

Jordy, welcome to the forum

A board should reach till your chin. That is considered the ideal size. I think the 162cm would better fit your size

I have the exact same hight, weight, boot size, board in mind and question.

Wide vs. regular is the question for me, as i'm interested in 162 custom.

With these measures a mid-wide board would probably be best

I just bought a burton Custom X 158 with Cartel Large bindings and burton size 12 boots. i am a surfer who recently moved to switzerland and am pumped to start boarding, but i'm worried the sales guy pushed the wrong width board on me. it seems I'd be fine with a mid-wide, but how can i look at my board and know if it's a mid-wide or regular?
