I was given an old school burton air also. It is dark green with lighter green pattern in the middle that comes to a point in the front of the board. the bottom is white and burton is written on it. I'm new to snowboarding and want to know what I've got. Can anyone give me background on it? Oh yeh, it also says "wood core"?

you have a 1993 burton air 161. In my mind this is the board that started the sport of snowboarding. I have one in my house that I bought from the white wolf in 92. Ride it proud and do a method for me to show off the bottom!!!!!!!
