I am 44 and weigh about 265 lbs. I have started riding a Redline BMX cruiser at the local track and want to compete. The bike is for beginers and is heavy. I have already mangled one rim and the other is bent. I am trying to get my hands around what brand of cruiser would be best suited or what I should be looking at since I am a heavy guy.

BIg Old MAn,
A good bmx cruiser would be a GT Dyno.
MY friend is 45 and weight about 235. He rides his GT but had to have rims built for his weight. He has Envy Rims, Profile hubs, and titanium spokes. Very strong and lightweight.
