Runn out of water to rev limit but wont rev on the water. What do you think?

Well the Boat revs fine out of water but wont rev in the water. the boat wont even go 25 MPH on the water.

I suspect there is a leak somewhere allowing the engine (or other vital part) to not do its function in the water. I am afraid you would need a manual (schematic) of the boat in order to retract the probable cause and the boat's performance.

What do you mean leak. I have cleaned the carbs checked all the reeds cleaned the fuel tank done all the updates on the fueing system.
It runs out of the water on the HOSE just fine. I guess I am overooking something. I remember that they used to do this al the time and it was an easy fix. I just dont remember the fix.

I had a car that acted similar to this. It would rev fine in park, but would not accelerate in drive. Weird answer - it was the spark plug wires. They were in poor shape and arced under power (driving/accelerating), but not when idling... That's all I can think of - good luck - tough problem...
